BAA meets over Montsho

The Botswana Athletics Association (BAA) was scheduled to meet last night to discuss the fate of former world 400m champion, Amantle Montsho who is provisionally suspended for failing a dope test at this year’s Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, Scotland.

The meeting came in the wake of a directive from the International Athletics Association Federation (IAAF) to BAA to determine Montsho’s fate.

BAA spokesperson, Ipolokeng Ramatshaba said early yesterday that officials are expected to meet later in the day to discuss the issue.
