BAA confirms Letham�s premature exit

Botswana Athletics Association (BAA) has confirmed the departure of cross-country coach, Adam Letham. The Scottish native was appointed thecoach for Diacore Gaborone Marathon Athlete Programme.

Letham left Botswana for South Africa in August after his residence permit application failed. Speaking from South Africa, Letham told Mmegi Sport that he could not stay in the country without a residence permit.

“I have tried numerous times to get the association to assist me but it was clear that they were not interested in my services.
