*Stadium fears allayed
The nation will breath a huge sigh of relief following reports that the Africa Junior Athletics Championships billed for May 12-15 in Gaborone will go ahead as planned.

There were fears that the unavailability of the National Stadium would scupper plans to host the continental event.

However, The Confederation of Athletics Association (CAA) president, Hamad Kalkaba Malboum told journalists in Gaborone yesterday that considering all the hard work and willingness put in preparing for the event, there could be no turning back. Malboum was in Gaborone to sign the final hosting agreement with the Botswana Athletics Association (BAA).
