Apolitical' Mfolo stays, knives still out for Ntshinogang

The Botswana Football Association (BFA) president, Maclean Letshwiti will retain the association’s chief executive officer, Mfolo Mfolo, whose contract expires next month.

Mfolo, who joined the BFA two years ago on secondment from the Ministry of Tertiary Education, has acquitted himself well in a volatile environment that has proved unforgiving to the association’s CEOs.

The BFA has had more than half a dozen CEOs over the last decade, but Mfolo, seen as apolitical in an acidic environment, has survived.
