Another shot in the arm for Gunners

Barely 24 hours after receiving a P180,000 cheque from Chemical Industries Botswana, Extension Gunners got another shot in the arm when it pocketed P120,000 from Kim's Auto.

The Kim's Auto sponsorship money was handed over at a ceremony at Conference Centre on Saturday. The guest speaker, Jeffery Bakwena, the CEO of Stockbrokers Botswana, congratulated the Gunners' committee for working hard to secure the sponsorship. He urged other companies to emulate the good gesture of companies like Kim's Auto which sponsor sport. He called for a good working relationship at Gunners in order to achieve success. "I would like to urge the coach, players and supporters  to work together because it is through a harmonised and cordial relationship that we will see the team going where it belongs (winning titles)," Bakwena said.

He urged supporters to refrain from hooliganism and instead behave well in order to lure more sponsors as no company would like to be associated with thuggery. He said the club should develop players at junior level to bring back the glory days.
