Another bad weekend for debutants

The last weekend was not good for the three new clubs in the be MOBILE Premier League.

Jwaneng Comets lost 4-2 to visiting Nico United at the Galaxy Stadium, while Motlakase were walloped 2-0 by TAFIC before Police XI thrashed Killer Giants 3-0 at Molepolole Stadium.

Perhaps this is a sign of the tough times ahead for the debutants.
Police XI had it easy against a notoriously defensive minded Killer Giants which showed no intent to exploit the weaknesses in the opponents' defence. Former Mogoditshane Fighters' striker Sadat Sinare easily taped in from close range to open the score in the 24th minute. Within minutes, Betsho Pius' solo run from deep created problems for the heavily congested Killer Giants' defence and the former youth international lobbed over the advancing goalkeeper Kelebogile Issac to make it 2-0 before the half time break.
