Amakhosi: (1)
(1) (Bokamoso Phutego 27th)
Tonota : (0) (0)

The goal came from a left flank attack by Amakhosi through Mompoloki Latlhang, who found a well-placed Phutego with across. Before the goal, Tonota posed the early threat with Edgar Seseko proving a menace to the Amakhosi defence. However, Tonota failed to capitalise on the goalscoring opportunities they created with Seseko as the main culprit. It was mainly a midfield battle where skipper Tshireletso Salefoma of Tonota dictated the pace giving Amakhosi little room to operate.

In the 40th minute, Seseko had the crowd on its feet in a moment of brilliance, but unfortunately, he failed to find the back of the net. Throughout the game the skilful striker had chances to score, but failed miserably. The dangerous Seseko continued to trouble Amakhosi and tried to form a dream combination with Thato Motswagole, but still could not find the much-needed equaliser for the visitors.
