Amaglug-glug humiliate young Zebras

A helpless national under-23 side got a heavy 5-0 drubbing at the hands of their South African counterparts in a friendly match played in Lobatse  yesterday. The loss is a major dent to Daniel Nare's charges' preparations for a crucial Olympic qualifier match against Egypt on Friday.

The team leaves for Egypt today (Monday).Once again, the pitch condition was a cause for concern as poor drainage system was  worrisome. The pitch at the new stadium was very slippery following some afternoon drizzles in Lobatse. The Young Zebras however started well attacking the opposition and Lemogang Maswena nearly found the opener as early as the fifth minute with a well taken shot after controlling inside the box.
