While the First Division Northern League still has some unfinished business, officials of the Southern Division said the 2010/2011 season finished on schedule. First Division South chairman Tariq Babitseng said that everything went according to plan.

He said there was no rowdy behaviour during games. "We never had incidents where games were either disrupted or called off because of unruly fans," he said.  "We have not summoned any team to a disciplinary hearing," Babitseng said.  He said his committee has been getting tremendous support in running the league.  He said even though they had no sponsors they still managed to finish the season on time. Some of the challenges they faced included the problem of referees who played truant. The league official said at times games had to be cancelled because the referees failed to turn up.  "The match officials were not always available for games," Babitseng said.

Other games were called off due to weather conditions. Babitseng said the First Division playing grounds do not have proper drainage systems. Regarding competition in the First Division South, he said it was of a very high standard".  To show how competitive the league was, he said, the championship was decided during the last game. This also applied to the teams that were relegated.  "To us, this shows how competitive the league is," he said.
