All is set for Tswapong's Ya Rena tourney

The beautiful game - as football is known - is not all about competing for prizes but it is also about fence-mending and conflict resolution.

Tumasera village, which is engulfed in a feud over which ward's name should be used, may soon have such conflict as a thing of the past thanks to the re-branded annual football tournament dubbed Ya Rena Tournament (Our tournament).

The tournament, which is billed to last for four days starting on December 25, will feature 10 teams drawn from all four wards of Tupswa, Malete, Seleka and Rasesa, which have contributed P1, 500 each towards prize money. The winners will pocket P2, 700.
