BDF XI have laid the ground for a bare knuckled fight with the Botswana Premier League after insisting it was unaware of the proposed Mochudi Centre Chiefs and Kaizer Chiefs friendly.

The army side was scheduled to clash with Mochudi Centre Chiefs on November 16, but instead the Premier League has allowed the Kgatleng giants to play their South African counterparts in a  friendly match on the same day.

This has infuriated BDF XI who insist preparations for the big clash are on going. “We would like to clearly ascertain to our loyal supporters, football followers and the general public that we have not been consulted or formally notified of any proceedings when such a decision was being made.  Therefore, we had no dealings and input ordaining such allegations,” said BDF XI in media statement signed by secretary general, Isaac Letsholathebe.
