After donning England colours, Walker itching to play for Bots

Gaborone bred World no. 18 squash star, Alister Walker, may have developed and represented England but home is always sweet and the lad now is eager to don Botswana colours.

Walker moved to the UK in 1998 after getting a squash scholarship at Wycliffe School in Gloucestershire. To receive sponsorship at the highest level in the UK meant he had to acquire a British passport and at 21, he lost his Botswana citizenship.

However, the dreadlocked right hander wants to regain his Botswana nationality and represent the country in international events. Walker, who recently moved to New York, is currently in the country on his off-season break.
