Africa Nations Cup: No shortcut to success

I have been reading quite a lot on the Africa Nations Cup lately. And not that every piece of article made sense really.

The problem is, when one is consumed with the love of the game, one cannot tell fiction from fact.

I have volumes of analysis and commentary on the tournament, but my best should be a recent piece in the Sunday Times of South Africa, which was a post-mortem report on the tournament, carrying a comment by one Zipho Dlangalala a technical football director at Durban University of Technology.  The man decries lack of comprehensive and concise program for continuous development as key causes to the poor showing by Bafana Bafana at the Africa Nations Cup.
