Jehovah’s Witnesses hosted their annual “Pure Worship!” convention at the University of Botswana Sports Arena over the last two weekends, drawing thousands from the local community to explore matters of faith and spirituality.

The free three-day events, held on August 8-10 in Setswana and August 15-17 in English, attracted peak attendances of 1,599 and 1,805, respectively, with a total of 43 individuals baptised across both conventions.

The convention programme featured Bible-based videos, discourses, and interviews addressing themes such as “What is Pure Worship?” which emphasised worshiping God according to His standards, “Imitate Those Who Loved Pure Worship!” and “Do You Worship What You Know?” which underscored the importance of grounding beliefs in truth and facts.
