The sign said, “Stop Hiring Humans. The Era of AI Employees Is Here.” At first, it made me laugh. I showed it to my brother and we both chuckled, like it was just another exaggerated message meant to go viral. But then the room went quiet.

He asked, “What if this happens faster than we expect?” That question stuck in my mind.

Because the truth is — it is already happening. Slowly, quietly, but surely. We are seeing machines take on tasks once done only by people. Customer service bots, warehouse robots, AI designers, autonomous vehicles (and so on). This is not science fiction. This is today. And it is moving fast.
