Zebras coach is underpaid

Again we hear from parliament what our national soccer coach earns. Unlike the last time when minister of Sports, Youth and Culture told parliament what national coach earns, this time around the BA president is not furious, why? I think we all know by now.

I have been following international soccer since USA 94 (17th FIFA world cup),I have never heard where national team coach earns less than a development coach, except from my beloved Botswana. Dr Veselin Jelusic, a development coach earns more than P40, 000 per month, with free housing, transport, free petrol, his salary is probably tax free. Zebras coach Stanley Tshosane earns P30, 000 per month, with P3, 000 as housing allowance and P500 airtime allowance per month, his salary is probably taxed.
