The right to vote

It was Friday the 16 October - voting day and I was excited. I now had the chance to have my say in who governs the country. Most important for everyone to vote.

Luckily I live just across the road from the  polling station, easy access, no problem to vote today. So convenient, especially as I am over seventy and my wife who is  over sixty, is sick in bed. She's been there for two days not like her at all.

Never mind we will vote.. I will watch the queue and when there is an opportunity I will help my wife - only a short way - across the road and into the school to vote.
