Not in all such families anyway. One day when I was at church, a visiting pastor from South Africa alluded to why we have so many unsuccessful middle-aged men; some of whom often turn to the worst by becoming criminals.
Which prisons are overflowing with inmates? Is it the ones for male or female inmates?
The pastor said that if one is to conduct a research on their biological background, they are likely to find out that these people grew up in families where they did not have role models.
