Survival International is a disgrace

Stephen Corry's comments of the Basarwa and his blatant attack on the Botswana Government is a shining example of how utterly misinformed Survival International is - see page 17 of Mmegi 09 March 2007.

Not long after the decision was taken by the High Court of Botswana, to allow the return of the Basarwa to the CKGR, the leader of the Basarwa, Roy Sesana, stated that he, and his people, did not care whether the Botswana Government was prepared to provide services or not. The Basarwa simply wanted to return to their homeland. Now we have Corry whinging on behalf of the Basarwa in favour of boreholes, goats and, above all, transmitters!

Excuse me Corry but, the CKGR is a game reserve - that is exactly what you will decipher from the abbreviation. What are the tourists going to record on their game logging sheets when they come across a goat? Alpine goat - migrating species?
