Report illegal hunting operations

His Excellency The President of Botswana, Lt Gen. Ian Khama, openly engaged the hunting industry at the recent Tourism Pitso 2008 in Gaborone.

He strongly advised the hunting industry to monitor and discipline members rigorously.
In response to this challenge, the representative body of the Botswana hunting industry, BWMA, and its members are committed to abiding by their Code of Conduct, the Department of Wildlife and National Parks (DWNP) Wildlife Conservation and National Parks Acts as well as the Hunting and Licensing Regulations at all times.

The BWMA would like to promote the knowledge that hunters of today pride themselves in subscribing to a strict code of conduct and good practice - this responsible attitude results in ethical harvesting of Botswana's natural and renewable wildlife resource.
