The above is incorrect at anyone who fails Trade Related Practice and/or Technology will not be awarded a certificate. He or she has to re-sit the subject. With National Craft Certificate courses, there are five subjects taken, they are:
1. Trade Related Technology
2. Trade Related Mathematics
3. Trade Related Technical Drawing
4. Trade Related Practice
5. Associated Studies (Technical English, Book-keeping, Management and Entrepreneurial Studies)
If one were to fail, any one of 2,3 and 5 above they still can be awarded a certificate. If the case is two of 2,3, and 5, one will have to re-sit. As for 1 and 4, these are must pass subjects.
