Please stop BOMU elections, re ipaakanye

I must admit to having been somewhat ruffled by the recent occurrences at the Botswana Musicians Union.

I devote the better part of this submission to the first, BOMU. Several years ago I accompanied the leaders of BOMU, among them Socca Moruakgomo, a life long musical friend, to Lobatse where we would seek information from the management of Sukiri, represented then by Legodile Serema, yet another brother, for lack of a more intimate description.

I had been selected to form part of the delegation presumably because of my standing as the Chairperson of the Botswana Association of Musicians, which I had registered, with the help of a woman student lawyer seconded to the Ministry of Labour and Home Affairs around 1991-2.
