Osupile is not telling the truth

In his controversial letter of Mmegi - 21 June 2007, a certain Thato Osupile nonsensically decided to drag the Botswana National Front (BNF)'s name in the mud for nothing. In his simplistic argument he constantly stated that the main opposition is fond of fomenting a storm one after the other to its own demise. For his political observation it is not true that the BNF is much more united.

What a load of nonsense! It is not understandable why Osupile wants people to believe that there is factionalism within the BNF without providing a convincing justification to support his solemn point. The fact of the matter is that before the Molepolole special congress they were two camps in the opposition political party, that is BNF members who supported Dr. Kathleen Letshabo and those who rallied behind Otsweletse Moupo for the party's presidential post. As we know Moupo won the race for the presidency and those who contested and lost to their fellow comrades later publicly announced that they accepted the results. So it is unacceptable for Osupile to make silly statements concerning the Molepolole congress results simply because he lost the position of Information and Publicity officer to Moeti Mohwasa. As a Botswana Democratic Party (BDP) member Osupile must thoroughly start to campaign for his fake political party as he promised and stop making noise. I want to make it clear that whether Osupile believes it or not come 2009 general elections B.N.F is going to increase its parliamentary seats. I want to remind those who think that Osupile was an asset to the B.N.F to think twice as we at the opposition party lost nothing to him. The fact that he did not belong to any constituency until he defected to the corrupt and nepotistic BDP is a clear indication of how he childishly took the B.N.F politics. Truly speaking, Osupile is a political clown who probably needs to be told that his defection to the BDP was inconsistently driven by sycophantic attitude.
Lastly I would like to urge members of the BNF to stay calm and rally behind the current party leadership. The poor and the working class are still living under oppression and exploitation due to the conservative - pro -capitalist B.D.P government.
