Of Moupo and the politics of discontentment within the BNF

Surely there is a new paradigm of political activism for Africa. The continent remains host to stringent political turbulence, curtness and immaturity.

With most African states patched up with political disapproval for their former colonies, and content with the power to self-govern; it comes into sight that to do so proficiently, maturely and dignifiedly is a daunting task. The paradigm shift is towards intransigent refusal to bow out of power in the midst of internal discontentment and total disregard for democratisation.

These crop up despite the credence of magnitude conveyed by democratic imperatives like elections, debate, compromise and respect for rule of law. Theories developed by the west on governance and administration such as those relating to ethics, good governance, transparency and accountability linger as sterile and redundant. They only come to exist used as stepping-stones towards the attainment of power and that's it.
