No need for BNF special congress

Recently there have been media reports attributable to some members of the party who, it is alleged, are saying that there will be a congress in July.

It is our believe that if these statements are not corrected, they will bring about confusion. It is on this basis that we had a meeting and decided to issue this statement.

We as the Women's League are of the view that what we will be having in July is a Conference since we had a special congress last year in Molepolole. There are also no major issues to necessitate that holding of a congress. If anyone is of a different view, then they can take it up with the party leadership through the party structures.
