Mogoditshane North councillor is out of order

On 26 August 2007, in the evening, between 8pm and 9pm, I was driving home to Ledumadumane in Mogoditshane after a long day at the family farm.

All I was looking forward to was to arrive home, get a refreshing warm shower, and have a short catch up conversation with family members before I retire to a relaxing sleep.

But when I was just about some 300 metres to my place, the car I was driving was suddenly jacked up and bumped up very strongly. While I was still in astonishment, asking myself what was going on because I use this same road almost everyday and I have never experienced anything of this kind, my attention was immediately redirected to stones or could I say rocks the size of a teenager's head which were scattered all over the way in front of me.  I tried to dodge one but that only led to running over many more. I applied sudden brakes to my car and it responded by skidding for a distance of about two metres with one tyre on top of one of those big stones on the way. When the car finally came to a halt, I killed the engine and got out of the car to inspect the area. I checked the car and realized that I was lucky because I did not get a puncture.
