Media houses form HIV/AIDS 'think-tank'

A co-ordinating committee, called the Botswana Media Wellness Initiative (BMWI) for HIV and AIDS Workplace Policy and Code of Conduct for participating newspapers, has been set up in Gaborone.

The committee's objectives include establishing a plan of action with time frames to implement the policy; monitoring the impact of the policy; arranging communal interactions from time-to-time; and sharing successes and challenges from each media house in an effort to implement the policy.
