Makgalemele obsessed with media

It is not surprising that Phillip Makgalemele attracted such negative publicity for the Botswana Football Association on the issue of the salaries of national football coaches.

Makgalemele is so obsessed with publicity that he wants to comment on every matter relating to the BFA. Logically and administratively, he should have left the issue of salaries to BFA Chief Executive Officer, I bet Tosh Kgotlele would have handled it far much better. In fact if he was smart enough (Makgalemele), he should have not commented on it at all.

The problem is Makgalemele uses his heart and not his head to think. He is abrasive, confrontational and irrational. Simply put, he is not a good President (BFA). Just three months ago, Makgalemele was quoted in the media saying he was going to involve the police to track down employees of the BFA who leak information to the media, and that was bad for the image of the association. Now look who is doing exactly that, Makgalemele himself. What a shame! Why doesn't he want the nation to know how their hard-earned money is spent? Surely, he is hiding something.
