Though the Office of the President has rubbished it as mere propaganda, it should not go unchallenged, unless of course the Office of the President is playing hide and seek. I proceed from the stand point that as long as the allegations are false, the issue must be given wide publicity and by extension the relevant authority in South Africa must be duly informed that the behaviour is a clear example of naked disrespect.
Hardly a week ago, the French warned tourists that a resistant TB is prevalent in Botswana and yet the government made an unconvincing rebuttal. My worry is that the good name of our country is being painted with a bad picture that will make it impossible for the likes of BEDIA to achieve their objectives. It is not necessary for me to talk of the infamous Survival International.
