Let's Give The President Support

The Botswana Congress Party (BCP) has now found an ally from one of the private newspapers in their mission of mis-informing Batswana and targeting government's top hierarchy.

It is true that some newspapers hide behind their pens and cameras to advance political ambitions as evidenced by one paper that has fallen short of being called an opposition pamphlet. Of late there has been a number of murders of innocent Batswana by unknown criminals in the North East District but the BCP and its allies never went public in condemning these brutalities, but they hasten to build mountains out of molehills when an unfortunate incident happens when security forces of this country are involved.

The president of this land has a very busy schedule on the welfare of Batswana to be accused on flimsy and falsehoods spearheaded by certain political parties and newspapers. If some prophet of doom has told the concerned political party and its newspaper cousin that to win the hearts of Batswana and elections in October, they must make a concentration of aimless attacks on the state president and his government, they are likely to be embarrassed with the outcome.
