Khama's initiatives are questionable

I start with a sincere apology to the readers of this column for its sudden disappearance almost four months ago, due to a ridiculous breakdown in communication. Thankfully, the problem has now been resolved.

During the hibernation of the column, President Ian Khama was inaugurated, and his first 100 days in office resulted in a number of changes in the way the government operates, with particular emphasis placed on service delivery. Khama also introduced countless initiatives, many of which have been received with excitement by those who expect to benefit most from them.
