Your article in your newspaper of the 29 February 2008 on the front page "Merafhe tops race for VP" is a good move in the right direction.

More of these surveys are vital on major issues affecting our nation. The fact that the survey was broad based and covered at least 52 personalities has merit. The exercise involved various age groups. Analysis by location indicated that Gaborone was on top, followed by Francistown and Kanye respectively. Serowe his home village was the lowest with 51 respondents. This is possibly due to inadequate awareness in relation to international affairs. The age groups from 18 to 40 were on top compared to other age groups of the respondents. The results were consistent from the start to the end.Merafhe has persistently performed very well in his previous and current ministerial posts. In the past he articulated his ministerial budget presentations so well that most of his colleagues praised him accounting for the funds allocated to his ministry. He is a strong and decisive leader who can ably help to take this country through the 21st century. His involvement with the international community has sharply broadened his scope.

I am aware that the incoming president is not obliged to follow the results of your survey. But, you have been very helpful. Choosing anyone of the unpopular candidates is his right but very suicidal.
