Kamanakao Association Is Up To Its Tricks Again

On any other day, we would not concern ourselves with the frivolities of Kamanakao Association, the self-proclaimed sole voice of the Bayeyi.

However, today we find ourselves in a position where we have to respond to their latest charade, and we do so with a great deal of reluctance because we normally do not conduct our affairs through the news media.  Mmegi edition of 19 March 2008 makes reference to the Kamanakao-staged elections in Boyeyi kgotla in Maun, ostensibly to fill the vacancy occasioned by the passing away of Mr. Jacob Moeti, last year.

A claim attributed to the "election winner" suggests that though the Moeti family's preference was that Moeti Moeti should succeed his father, he (Moeti Moeti) has indicated his unavailability as he is still studying.  We take exception to the mischievous use of the Moeti family name by Kamanakao Association for reasons best known to themselves. Since when has the Moeti family determined the agenda of Kamanakao Association?
