If you cannot beat them join them

We have tried all the channels to take all the illegal immigrants back to their respective homes to no avail, they keep finding their way inside our country despite all the strategies or operations used to clean up the country.

Time has come for relevant authorities to come up with new strategies to now make use of these illegal immigrants to benefit the development of our country.
The number of illegal immigrants in Botswana is more than the population of Serowe village (unconfirmed statistics) and this tells us that something critical needs to be done immediately. Our population is too small and the number of foreigners who came here illegally is rising at an alarming rate. My suggestion is let's relax our chains and now screen these guys to use them to build this country.
It is a fact that most of these guys are more educated than our fellow citizens in various fields and why not take an advantage and use those skills, although we have a problem of unemployment locally I suggest we screen these guys and employ them where necessary to close the gaps where we are in shortage of right skills / scarce skills.
We have tried our best to use soldiers and police to assist immigration department but it seems the techniques in place are not successful.
Let's look into our Engineering fields be civil, telecommunications, Education, Railways, Construction, Medical, Legal, Agriculture and other important fields and see where we could use these immigrants to the benefit of our Country. The screening is very important and whoever is employed the Country of Origin should be informed and final agreement made through relevant authorities.
We are sick and tired of international figures that come here and whose words are more respected than our fellow Africans especially those who once worked in this country. We have intelligent Africans in this continent who could develop this country other than those from cold countries especially America and Europe, however I am not saying they are not important they are the pillars of our democracy and made us to be where we are we do appreciate their contributions.
