I Support The Marriage Bill

Marriage is an institution established by God for a man and a woman to live together. God then empowered the institution with a tool for procreation so that there be a family.

Sadly, the wicked humanity became a bandit of its own treasury and robbed this tool out of the institution. It has ever since caused a terrible mess and controversy to the unlicensed mankind. There erupted deadly ailments related to our sacred tool. Now we are victims of a social disorder, still born by the misplacement of the sacred tool, by the name... rape. This has unleashed hostility across the male and female divides, and has even transcended into the rightful territory of the sacred tool; marriage. It is common that when all is not well, someone deserves the blame. Kids illustrate it better; when something is amiss, the one in the wrong makes most noise. On this issue, poor women have been mum, while men are on their guilty toes attempting to justify the unjustifiable.
Humanity has been two-sided right from its cradle. The Adam and Eve story has it that the bearded one was the first toss, subsequently then from his ribs a wo-man was extracted. This is just one of the tales that gave a traditional man a line of thinking that a woman is sub par to him. Those well versed with the holy book cite it so shallowly to convince a modern man that this theory of male dominance is a legacy to inherit and go by. We are swayed to believe that there is no equivalence in nature; one element is always more equal than others. These are just products of Plato and Aristotle; deep thinkers attempting to give us vain inkling of the wonders of this world. They sound harmless and intending no pain, but the underground effect they have on our divided humanity is just surpassing margins of tolerance. It begins to irk when they use the implied unbalanced partnership of marriage to shield how the law treats rape in marriage.

Let me assert in lay man's terms that rape is rape; it is any forceful sexual advance from any party to the other. It is so inhuman, it kills the victim's soul and alters his or her perception of life itself. How could it deserve any reservation for condemnation whichever way or where it occurs? How do we label the same pathetic act 'an exceptional case' in favour of the Judas Iscariots who somehow grows claws to pick on what the same scripture proclaims... 'their own ribs?'
