This invitation to Mugabe will undermine the regional block's credentials of what its principles are and it will be undermining the negotiations that are in process. By inviting Mugabe, all SADC heads of State, apart from Botswana, are saying there is no need to hold talks/negotiations between ZANU-PF and the Movement for Democratic Change (MDC).
