I blame BDP veterans

It is disheartening to see a party of the Botswana Democratic Party's (BDP) magnitude being turned into a tuck shop, a one man show and a banana party.

BDP is a party that has existed for long. It has attracted a lot of youth such as me but of late I do not bless the way things are being operated.

It has enough veterans, who are supposed to act as custodians at times when things go wrong rather than hiding under shadows. We trust them as elders of the party and they are our pillars of strength. I talk of comrades such as Sir Ketumile Masire, Dr Gaositwe Chiepe, David Magang, Ponatshego Kedikilwe, Daniel Kwelagobe, to mention but a few. These are people who should provide advice guided by principle and constitution of the party.
