Help the teachers

Many of us love teaching very much for various reasons, but most of all we like it because we enjoy imparting knowledge, skills and attitudes to our learners.

That is the reason teachers are said to be pillars of the nation, but here in Botswana so many of us are now demoralised because of abuse of office by so many people involved in the recruitment, transfers, promotions and many others in education.

Just recently, there has been some rumours of certain people having ghost workers (temporary teachers) in their regions and it prompted the higher officers to nearly punish the innocent teachers by wanting to stop temporary teaching programme.
