Govt has not been honest on CKGR

A couple of years ago when the 'fooled' nation heard the first statement and reasons provided by the Government of Botswana on the relocation of the Basarwa from the Central Kalahari Game Reserve, it was thought that the rationale attached to the movement of Basarwa had nothing to do with diamond mining in the Game reserve.

The government campaign against the so called allegations held by Survival International on the real reason for relocating. 

The government now seems to condone the diamond mining within the same place which was designated a game reserve under the Game Proclamation through the High Commissioner's Notice on February 14 1961, and this proclamation was superseded by the current Wildlife Conservation and National Parks Act No. 28 of 1992. A democratic way of doing things is not by hiding the truth from the public or the nation you are heading.
