Favours from suppliers of goods and services

To this end, we include the following extract from the De Beers' Code of Business Conduct and Ethics:
"All personnel should avoid conflicts of interest and are expected to perform their duties conscientiously, honestly and in accordance with the best interests of De Beers and its shareholders ...

...Conflict of interest can arise where employees are offered gifts, hospitality or other favours which might, or could be perceived to, influence their judgement in relation to business transactions ... "
