Comrade Matswiri walloped the BDP candidate Rejoice Bimbo by 489 votes to 329. As a true follower of Marxist political philosophy I remind the ruling Botswana Democratic Party that come 2009 general elections any party candidate who will be contesting for Kgalagadi South constituency is going to lose badly to the BNF. The BDP being conservative and pro-capitalist is just a hopeless political party which shows a pathetic mentality of spreading false promises every time Batswana go to general elections. It is therefore unnecessary for the citizens of this country to vote for the BDP because it dismally failed to improve the lives of Batswana for the passed over 4 decades of its rule. That the Botswana president Ian Khama has introduced some programmes which aim to eradicate the current social problems like employment and poverty is just a joke. What should be understood here is that Khama is a member of the BDP. As all patriots constantly know the political party has completely failed to deliver the goods. The BDP political puppets probably need to be told that Khama spent 10 years as the vice president of Botswana. This clearly shows that he had an opportunity to explore his political intelligence regarding the social welfare of the nation.
So it is shocking to state here that immediately after he entered the parliament in 1998 he decided to use a Botswana Defence Force chopper every time there is a BDP political rally. That was and is still wrong as Khama as a retired BDF officer is not entitled to do that. So I condemn with the strongest terms all political nonentities who are going up and down telling Batswana that Khama is a Messiah as they are not dong themselves justice.
