Cartoon on President Mogae's health in bad taste

I hold the personal and professional objection that the cartoon was offensive to national sentiment in that what ought to be a commendable communication of the state of health of our Head of State should be depicted in a derisive, mocking and derogatory fashion. Even the poetic justice or the artistic license inherent in creativity cannot justify the blatant untruth portrayed through innuendo in the cartoon.
We all know that Princess Marina is one of the referral hospitals in Botswana that has referred hundreds or even thousands of citizens of Botswana to specialist hospitals, clinics and other medical institutions in South Africa.
It underscores the indispensable role women play in our society, particularly in building strong households and nurturing families.
