Botswana Law Society going transparent

It is very interesting and worthy of note that the Botswana Law Society (BLS) in marking a very big change in their character and has taken a proactive stand on the Nganunu story in the public's interest.

It is good to think they investigated the story in the interest of vindicating the erstwhile besieged Judicial Services Department. People should have trust in their judiciary, and the least thing that seeks to taint the good image of the administration of justice must be quickly apprehended and corrected to restore the good name of the institution as well as restore the confidence and trust of the people.

Yet we should also be very careful when the BLS decides to begin taking up matters viewed as in the public's interests even if it may perhaps be for the first time in their known and publicised records.
