Board member of Conservation International or President of Botswana?

I am puzzled, I blame my lack of awareness of our constitution, but is the president allowed-legally- to also be a sitting member of the Board of Directors of any local or international organisation, whether profit-making or non-profit-making?

This is prompted by the fact that our President is a member of the Board of Directors of Conservation International (CI). Questions that are to be asked are; who is responsible for his upkeep there, we tax payers of Botswana or Conservation International?

I noticed when he left that he actually was using the official presidential jet, the OK1, who has financed this trip, Taxpayers? Who is taking care of his security needs at Conservation International, Botswana taxpayers?
