BDP Remembers Ngcongco

Professor Leonard Ngcongco's death has left us at the Botswana Democratic Party (BDP) reflecting on his dexterity, brilliant style of teaching as part of the world's academic community.

He was a popular professor and many of his classes were always over subscribed. He had a sound presence within the History Department, serving many positions and helping out wherever possible.

He was flexible and I think that is why students liked him so much. He genuinely cared about his students. Professor Ngcongco's presence will certainly be missed within the UB community and Botswana at large. He was one of the best professors in the History Department at UB. He tried to make the class interesting by sharing his personal experiences and attempted to stimulate critical thinking. People will miss his interesting and entertaining performance. History is an art and he performed meticulously.
