BDP Rejects Dr Gobotswang's Statement

The phony press release by Dr Kesitegile Gobotswang about the BDP is very rich indeed, coming as it does from the BCP. The BCP leadership, for those who may have forgotten, is an integral part of that shameful and disgraceful episode in Palapye in 1998. The BCP is therefore, fully versed in the politics of instability, intolerance and violent political discourse. The BDP to its credit has never seen anything on the scale of Palapye in its ranks and is, therefore, not about to be lectured by anyone, let alone the BCP.

The BDP urges its members to remain vigilant against the machinations of Dr Gobotswang because this is a man who would be satisfied by nothing other than the collapse of the BDP. So while he may for reasons of political expediency, seem to support some members of BDP, when all has been said and done, he supports no one in the BDP. After all, he is not a member of the BDP, but its bitter hater.
