Batswana Are Ignoring Their Safety

As a safety trainee, I find it fit to question each unsafe behaviour I see on the road. Just near the traffic lights along Lobatse road before entering Game City, there are some excavations going on there.

It is and surprising to learn that even though the holes have been securely barricaded, people tend to pass across the scene. They have gone to the extent of removing the danger tape used. I wonder whether these people really know the purpose of having such means of surface protection (excavation). Phew! Batswana betsho, that tape is there to warn you of the danger associated with the holes and to prevent any person from inadvertently falling into those excavations.

Simply, you are not permitted to enter or trespass in that place unless authorised to do so. Lastly, I implore you all to always give safety the best you can and avoid taking shortcuts no matter how small in order to prevent mishaps. Walk Safe and Stay Safe!!!!!!!
