Acting Director Offends Operators

I feel obliged to react to an article that appeared in the local press wherein the Acting Director of Transport and Safety indicated the magnitude of corruption in his department.

It is however not in my interest and agenda to engage in such issues, but for an officer at the helm of a public institution to put forward such boastful sentiments indisputably prompts some challenge.

May the Director understand that as a leader he is entrusted with the taxpayers to direct and account for all what it takes for the general administration and operation of the organisation and this entails prudent and sound management of resources.
