A response to your article on Khama

We spoke over the telephone on February 14, 2008 regarding the above-mentioned matter and we only respond to the article due to the fact that the Oodi College of applied Arts was cited as one of the projects that has put Vice President Ian Khama under spotlight.

We acknowledge that we are the contractor that is undertaking the construction of that colossal Oodi project but we vigorously deny that we are behind schedule by three months, as we envisage to hand over the project in February 2009 as planned.

It may also be useful to remember that Vice President Khama does not directly coordinate government projects but rather his Ministers, Project Consultants whose opinions and inputs should always be sought by those who wish to give the press accurate information for public consumption regarding project progress.
