228-"Gains since the Launch of Education for All"

Some of the previous Issues have discussed various problems that are related to the implementation of Education for All. This particular Issue re-visits the subject and explores some gains that have been made since 1990, as well as some of the challenges that are emerging.

The Education for All agenda has remained a critical driving force since the major international conference in Jomtein, Thailand, in 1990.

This agenda that was endorsed has enabled national governments to seek more opportunities for new networking and collabration in ensuring that barriers to schooling are removed, particularly for the underprivileged and or marginilised sectors of society.
